| Here is a little 5 watt guitar amplifier that I built for my brother. It is based on the Fender 5F2 Princeton. We decided to use a slightly bigger power transformer for the project Fender part #041316. This does exceed the rating on the 6V6 tube but Angela Instruments also suggests using a larger transformer in there "how to" section for their amp and they did not have any problems. Over all my brother and I were very pleased with how this amplifier turned out, it makes for the perfect practice amp. |
