This RCA Victor radio was my Grandpa's radio that he used in his dentist office. This radio was built in 1952. The radio is a superheterodyne circuit with a 12BE6 pentagrid converter, 12BA6 IF amplifier, a 12AV6 combined detect-AVC-first audio stage and a 50C5 beam power output. A 35W4 half wave tube rectifier is used. RCA named this radio the "Greenwich" and had three radios in the series. The 5-x-560 which was black, the 5-x-562 which was white, and the 5-x-564 which was red. | ||||
